The Paris Appeal for a responsible finance was launched at the 4th annual Convergences 2015 Forum in May 2011 in response to the irresponsible behaviour os some microfinance actors which brought about the Andrah Pradesh crisis (2010)
In 2012, Convergences 2015 has developed the “Global Appeal for Responsible Microfinance,” a worldwide effort to build momentum and commitment to financial inclusion and to responsible finance.
