The Least Developed Countries Fund is a mechanism of the Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to support the implementation of the elements of the program of work in favor of the least developed countries.
Its objective is to help less developed countries address their high vulnerability to climate change and help them implement their national adaptation programs.
The operating entity of the LDCF is the Global Environment Facility (GEF)
